Medina County is set to burst with color, creativity, and community spirit at the Strawberry Arts Fest, hosted by Access the Arts, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free arts programming for residents of all ages. The festival will take place on Sunday, June 28, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the historic Medina Square, and will be a celebration for families, art lovers, and anyone looking to enjoy a summer day filled with inspiration.

One of the main attractions of the Strawberry Arts Fest is the impressive lineup of over 100 art vendors showcasing a wide variety of original works. From paintings and photography to handcrafted jewelry and ceramics, adults will enjoy the shopping and a chance to win $150 retail baskets in our raffle drawings. Children will find special activities throughout the day, including interactive art stations, face painting, balloons, and a visit from Jungle Terry—guaranteed to delight with his engaging exotic animal demonstrations.

Access the Arts will also display artwork created by participants in their many programs, including the youth at the Juvenile Detention Center, AC Passage Day Center, Lodi Family Center, and the attendees of the AtA summer arts camps, giving young artists a chance to shine and share their creativity with the wider community.

The festival’s gazebo will host all-day performances featuring local talent, including participants from Access the Arts Camp, local dance studios, and vocal performances. Two major concerts are scheduled to energize the evening: Ohio Crossroads blue grass band takes the stage at 4:00 PM, followed by Take Me Back, a Chicago/horn rock tribute band at 6:00 PM.

Treat your taste buds to offerings from Blue Heron Brewery, Dr. Hibachi, Upscale Variety, and The Original Steaks and Hoagies Food Truck. For a classic festival treat, volunteers will be serving up fresh strawberry shortcake and strawberry sundaes throughout the day—a sweet nod to the event’s namesake and a perfect way to celebrate summer.
